Spring Chicken and Sweet Potato Hamantaschen
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
1 vanilla bean
4 egg yolks
1 container sweet cream
Kinneret Farm silan
- Boil the water with the sugar and vanilla bean for about 5 minutes, until it becomes a syrup. Remove the vanilla bean.
- Beat the egg yolks and add them to the syrup.
- Whip the mixture until fluffy.
- Whip the cream until it is also fluffy, and fold the 2 mixtures into each other.
- Transfer the combined mixture into a loaf pan, cover with plastic wrap and freeze.
- Drizzle with silan before serving.
