
Delicious silan ice cream is great in any weather and any season. You won’t find anything like it in any ice cream parlor. There’s a tasty surprise in every bite.
Prepare individual servings using silicone muffin trays.
Combine in a mixer:
1 kg white cheese (9% fat)
2 packets instant butterscotch pudding
2 containers sweet whipping cream
Approximately 1/2 cup sugar, to taste.
Whip together to create a cream, then stir in 1/4 cup Kinneret Farm silan.
Add:
100 g white chocolate chips or white chocolate flakes
3 cups tea biscuit pieces, any flavor
100 g mini candy coated chocolate (e.g. Smarties, M&Ms, etc.)
At least 2 tbsp liquor of any sort
Mix and continue adding ingredients to taste.
Freeze in the appropriate containers.
Festive Variation:
Glaze ice cream with warm or cold ganache.
Heat sweet cream in a small pot until just boiling. Turn off the heat and stir in 200 g dark chocolate. Mix to a consistent cream and pour over ice cream.
To Serve:
Sprinkle chunks or strands of halva, a drizzle of silan, and cherries in season, as shown in the picture. Store frozen until 1/2 hour before serving.
Tip:
Try varying the toppings: sugared cherries, chocolate pieces, dried fruit, candied citrus peel, nuts, caramel, etc.
